Even though Captain Ron was dealing with a personal tragedy, he still took the time to make sure my family and I had a crew to take us out fishing. We were also overcoming a death in the family, and Carson and Jaylen put big smiles and laughter on our day. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and my brother-in-law had the time of his life catching fish offshore. We all caught fish, took some to a restaurant they recommended (Snooky’s waterfront) that would cook them for us; Best Meal at the Beach!! They happily answered every question I asked (“there are no dumb questions” - they’re very polite, and they stopped to let us take a picture by the lighthouse. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our adventure, and we enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed it so much, my brother-in-law wants to make this an annual trip!! Capt. Ronnie and first mate Cross are amazing. When we booked the charter it was for the 4th the Sunday before Capt Ronnie called and asked if it was possible to reschedule due to weather and he want us to have an awesome trip. They were informative on every aspect for heading out to what was biting, what’s going on in the area ect… we did some trolling for atlantic bonito in the morning and weren’t having any luck so they changed plans and he headed out to do some bottom fishing and he put us on fish immediately with a nice mixed bag. He interacted with other boats to find out when the bonito were biting and when it picked up we headed in to troll some more.
They were amazing with the kids and their sometimes crazy antics. They also kept us entertained the entire trip. Cross was even in on some shenanigans of his own. Made for an absolutely amazing time.
We will definitely be back for another trip on our next vacation to the Carolinas. We would recommend these guys to anyone looking to go out and have an amazing time and catch some fish.

It was amazing. Once we caught enough Spanish mackerel, he knew right where to take us to put us right on the sea bass, with hits every time you got the line to the bottom.

It was also incredibly thoughtful that every time we stopped to drift, he put the boat so we wouldn’t be smelling the diesel fumes

It was our first sea fishing experience. It was a shared experience with another family of three. So the price was right without being lost in a crowd. Everyone had ample opportunity to jump on a bite. And we caught Spanish mackerel and 1 shark that we had to throw back. They cleaned and filet our Spanish Mackerel and bagged it for us. They were quite tasty when I fried them. They allowed a small cooler with drinks to be brought on. We did not but would probably bring some water next time. I brought a Pepsi and a cookie. It wasn’t super cold by the time I drink it. My 16 year old had a blast. I just wanted to ride the boat out. The fishing was just bonus. Sometimes all the pole’s were hitting at once and other times you’re just waiting. It was a blast even a little bout of showers just added to the experience. Definitely made it cool down a bit . We would definitely do it again! Highly recommended!
