Explore southern Missouri and northwest Arkansas with Mozark Fishscapes! Your guide and host, Captain Darren Sadler, has been fishing these lakes since he was a kid and has a life-long passion for the sport.

Trips depart from boat docks in and around Branson, depending on where the trout bite is the best at the moment. Darren is an avid fly fisherman and an enthusiastic and patient teacher.

You’ll be fishing on a 16’ Stealth Craft Drift Boat that accommodates up to 2 guests.

Capt. Darren covers all the fishing equipment you’ll need, including fly rods, reels, flies, and gear. Your fishing trip also includes light snacks and bottled water. You only need to get your fishing license and trout permit and you’re ready to go!

I started out fishing with my Grandpa when I was 5 yrs old. I guess you can say I got "hooked". I was fortunate to grow up on a lake and loved to be on the water. My Dad used to say he never worried about me getting in trouble, he knew if he drove around the neighborhood he'd spot me on the lake somewhere. The only trouble I got into was being late to the dinner table. My love for trout fishing began in high school when I started fishing the MO trout opener at Montauk state park with my high school buddies. I moved to Springfield, MO in the early 90's to go to Southwest Missouri State and began working at Bass Pro Shops in the White River Fly Shop. It was at this point that I really developed as a fly fisherman. I fell in love with the Ozark waterways and all that they had to offer. I have been fly fishing the Ozarks and White River Basin for over 30 years now and love sharing my tips, tricks, and tactics with my clients!

Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.

If you can hold a rod you can catch fish! No age limits. We love to teach all anglers young and old.
