I don’t even know where to begin. Communication was great leading up to this trip and during this trip! It was a great boat and both captain Anthony and Star were amazing! They had electric reels thankfully because those halibut fight!!! We were on a cruise so we had a short port time and they took us straight to location and we started getting bites! I can not tell u how amazing it was to be fishing while hump back whales are swimming around! We have already started planning our trip back to Ketchikan next year just to fish with Captain Anthony and Star! I would really rate them 15/10 if I could! My fathers halibut was just under 40” and mine was 29”!

Captain Anthony kept switching baits trying to find something that the silvers wanted and moving to different spots. We released many pinks and ended up with 6 pinks, 1 silver and 1 chum. Star is great at setting baits and landing the fish. Great team work. I would definitely fish with them again.

Felt kind of bad watching all the other boaters looking cold and not catching fish. We caught 7 salmon.  Anthony knew just where to take us and his homemade tackle sure did the trick. We had a great time! If we ever come back we will do the halibut fishing next time. Very knowledgeable and entertaining without being fake.  It was definitely worth the money we paid!

We love to fish and couldn’t leave Alaska without having tried to catch something. We knew with the short amount of time we had on our cruise stop and it being the end of the season our chances were not real good. Anthony took us to a few areas until we found two big ones.  Had a blast, crew very experienced and knowledgeable, and even took the time to let us see some whales nearby. Just wished we could have booked the whole day. Definitely hope to fish with them again. Angie

Wonderful family experience with friendly and knowledgeable Captain Anthony and his First Mate Star.  We caught a boatload of salmon and had an experience my family will never forget.  We had never been fishing in the ocean, but First Mate Star whipped us into fishing shape quickly, which yielded an approximate 20 salmon hall.
