May was good, heard June is great. We were trolling the entire time so don’t expect catching fish every 10 minutes, however, when u catch something, expect it to be a keeper. Very happy with the trip overall

May can be windy, I’d recommend booking with a bigger boat. The Alondra III was a hell of a boat that we felt very safe and comfortable on all day long.

This was our first time fishing in Cancun. Captain Hector and the crew took great care of us and made it seem like we’ve fished here for years.

Don’t expect non stop action. But there are certainly quality fish to be caught and not a lot of competition

Our captain Ramon and his first mate worked super hard to make sure we caught fish. We trolled going out and then switched over to spot fishing where we had the most luck. Caught dorado or mahi mahi, snapper, mackerel, trigger and trumpet fish. We were blessed with a great captain and a beautiful day!

Sunscreen (lotion not spray) for the top of your feet, nose and face, motion sickness pills (I know I need them), sunglasses and patience. It’s called fishing not catching for a reason

Your never gaurteed anything but this crew worked extremely hard trying everything to catch fish and we had the trip of a lifetime catching 3 stripped Marlin

Just make sure you have enough clothing to stay covered up. Even with sunscreen you will burn.

This was a great introduction to Puerto Vallarta fishing. We were out the perfect amount of time and our boat was outfitted perfectly for our family. The Captain pulled out the awning and that was wonderful for relaxing out of the sun. We didn't catch many fish but the other boats the Captain checked in with that were fishing the bay were having a slow day as well. That's to be expected with fishing. Overall, a great day out in the bay!

Fishing on a boat like La Princesa is a very worthwhile experience. Captain Francisco is knowledgeable and is very helpful. He, as I'm sure all the captains will put you on fish and help you catch fish. These trips are child friendly, no experience friendly, and experienced fisherman friendly. Another plus is not only is it fun to catch the fish, but they taste wonderful. It's a worthwhile experience for a day.

Come hungry and bring your catch to a local restaurant for fresh ceviche, sashimi and tacos.

It is best to book an 8hour trip, if possible, to have more time to catch in case its a little slow. You can always go in early...but had we only been on a short trip, we would not have time to catch that 2nd marlin. Sometimes fishing is great but I think it was a bit slow because of the weather, but it was a great time!

I totally recommend this tour for anyone. I wrote a review previously and wanted to attached photos.

The weather was great in April but it is not peak season for marlin! Look for the great reviewed crew, it is better to get a crew that know rather than a fancy boat!

If you stay at Hotel Posada LunaSol It is right next to the marina With the Baja Pacenos Tours with Captain Edgar And the restaurant LA Casta well cook up your fresh catch.

Weather, water and temperature was perfect! We caught 3 marlin and another fish between two of us. It was perfect!
