Felt like more of a boat ride than a fishing trip.ย Never pulled the lines in once to rebait or try something new.ย No fish were caught and the captain seemed like he was ready to return to the dock.ย We were charged for a fishing license and were never asked for the Information to fill out a fishing license.ย Never saw a fishing license.ย We looked online for our license and it didnโt exist.
We are sorry for the slow catching day, some days are just like that.ย Regarding the license, all you need to get them is your names which we had, we could not go out fishing without them.ย Once again please accept an apology for the slow day.
While the captain was friendly , The boat was rough and badly maintained , along with tackle that was fit for the bin. The bilge kept filling with water and required constant draining with the bilge pump which was switched on by touching two wires together ....not recommended where there is gas present !!!
Although one person did catch 1 Wahoo, I was very disappointed that myself and my husband never even got to hold a fishing pole, let alone fish. Our captain Miguel baited all 3 poles, threw them out to troll and drove around. This went on 4 1/2 hours of our 5 hour trip. The last 30 min one got hooked and our friend reeled that one in. I understand that cannot control if we catch anything, but when you pay to go fishing one would expect they get to actually try to fish. Our captain didnโt really speak any English so communication was an issue when we tried to ask if we could do some of the work. I donโt think we would use them again for our next trip.
