An exceptional day fishing in the gulf. As you can see we brought home some nice filets (30 lb King Mackeral, several delicious snapper, and a porgi).  Great action including “ones that got away”... multiple grouper just under the 20” limit.  Additionally, we hooked big amber jack, what we think was about an 8 foot shark, and what we believe was a Goliath grouper.  We fought these bad boys for a long time, but they either broke the line or bent the hook and escaped.  This was thrilling.

You’ll love Captain Chris.  Scott was an outstanding first mate and took care of everything we needed to ensure we caught lots of fish.  Very knowledgeable and kept us tangle free.

I couldn’t recommend a better charter. Captain is incredibly knowledgeable and worked so hard to make sure all our needs were accommodated. First mate Lee made sure all 6 of us had poles in the water at all times and was incredibly skilled at rigging poles and line sets. You WILL NOT find a better Captain and first mate in sarasota let alone Florida. We will be coming back to fish with them as soon as possible.

We had an amazing time! I took my 7, 10, and 11 year old out for their first charter experience and we caught a nurse shark, saw dolphins, a sea turtle, jelly fish, and caught lots of grouper, lane snapper, vermillion snapper, porgie, and almoco jack. Captain Chris and Lee were wonderful and kept our poles ready and baited keeping us in active spots the whole time! They knew exactly where to go and tended to our every need with bait and helping with fish unhooking so we could keep catching them!

Chris and Scott did what they could on what was a rotten day for fishing.  We caught fish, but not what we were after.  High winds, a front moving in and changes in barometric pressure prevented us from having our own fresh caught fish for dinner that night.  Chris contacted us the night before and mentioned this could occur as he was looking at the weather.  I appreciate a captain like that.  It’s fishing and sometimes rotten conditions keep the fish from biting.  We’ve fished with them before and Chris and Scott know their stuff.  We’ll use them next time as well.

Captain Chris, first mate Scot, and the Norwegian Lady run a great trip.  Big roomy boat, twin 300’s to get you where you are going with plenty of room to fish.
Both men are patient, knowledgeable, experienced watermen, outstanding guides and fishermen.
Neat clean operation, beautiful, well maintained equipment. We caught a ton of fish on our half day, near shore and bay trip.
Cleaned and filleted our catch expertly and gave us recommendations for cooking the catch.
