We booked with Smokin Hooks because they could take all six in my family. Captain mike was very patient with my grandchildren and did his best to make sure we all caught fish. The boat was clean,well equipped and we all felt safe. We tried different spots to find the bigger fish but as fishing goes it wasnt to be. We caught numerous snapper which mike filleted for us on return. I would highly recommend Smokin Hooks.

Captain Brian is on top of his game, he asked us what we were targeting then we went after it   With in minutes of poles in the water we were catching fish.  We did not take many pictures honestly we did not have time to.  In all we must have caught 30+ fish while we were out there.  Some were to small we had to throw back however we came home with plenty for a group fish fry.  (Grouper, Snapper and Grunts.)  You may want to stretch or exercise a bit before you go, I am writing this review the day after I am sore however I will be doing this again with Captain Brian for sure.

Great experience,  we were very novice fishermen but Brian and Blake made it a great experience.

The Gulf was rough and the fish weren’t biting. We tried a few different spots and changed some things up, but it didn’t go our way. Regardless, Capt. Brian and Greg were very friendly and helpful. It was still a great experience and would book with Smokin’ Hooks again. As Brian said “A bad day on the water always beats a good day in the office.”
