We (my 2 sons and I, plus 2 others) went on a fishing trip with Captain Craig and Crew hand Albert on Friday, March 26,2021 and let me tell you it was a blast. That’s quite an understatement. I sat back and let my sons do most of the fishing while I kept track of the fish that were caught.

So here’s the break down: 4 Browns, 1 Leopard, 4 rays, 1 Halibut, 10 Bass by 11:30 am. Then we move to another location: 2 Bass and 2 Halibuts by 12:38pm. And we move once again: 1 Ray, 8 Bass, and 2 Halibut by 3:30pm. You guys do the math that’s 35 landed fish and multiple fish species crossed off the bucket list.

Not to mention that we didn’t get to the fishing location until about 8:30am. Within 2 minutes to casting out our lines we were already getting bites. Well worth the drive to the perfect fishing location. And those numbers do not include all the missed fish that we had because we couldn’t properly set the hooks. So the 1st hour or so was just practice.

I left a tip but next time I will remember to bring more money for a bigger tip because it was well worth it and they made sure to keep us active fishing the whole time. Captain Craig and Albert most definitely made this the most memorable time of our lives and it’s most definitely one for the books. Like my oldest son had said, “I’ve caught more fish today then I’ve had in my entire life of fishing.” That’s not an understatement by all means.

Next time I’m back in California, hopefully during halibut season, I’ll definitely book again with Captain Craig and Albert again and bring more for a tip because these men know there fish and way around a boat. We enjoyed it Captain and can’t wait to do it again.

The fishing was super fun, I have never caught a salmon, lingcod, or the different rockfish species until I booked this amazing trip it wouldn’t have been possible without captain Craig and his deckhand jay. They were very nice and even if you lack the knowledge on fishing they will help you every step of the way. This was my second charter ever and I would highly recommend booking with Argo sport fishing!!!

Our half day trip was perfect and met our needs. Jay was an excellent teacher, Craig coached our inexperienced group with patience.

We loved having a small group. Our group had lots of access to poles, and great views. Larger boats passed by us. They looked crowded- but not ours! We were able to get great views. Best of all we had a great number of catches! Craig and Jay communicated well to scout and guide us in how to fish the bay.

I would recommend their team to anyone!

Captain Craig provided an absolutely unbelievable experience, for my wife and I!  He made every effort to fulfill our preferences, and locate some sharks.  We both caught large leopard sharks.  I caught a 60 lb bat ray.  Lost a huge shark which dove under the boat.  Craig is very personable and attends to your every need.  Go with THE pro and go with Argo fishing charter.

Highly recommend Captain Craig and the Argo.  Knowledgable and experienced captain and very friendly.  Caught 4 Halibut and made a memory we won’t ever forget.  We all had a blast.
