I booked a 3/4 day fishing trip and it exceeded my expectations. The deck hand and captain were fantastic, putting me on the fish immediately. I go on multiple charters annually and this one stood out. They even provided transportation to and from the dock. The captain and deck hand took me to their preferred spot, which was opposite of where the other charters were heading. Initially, I was hesitant, but it proved to be the right decision as I caught a fish within 10 minutes of arriving at the spot. The rest of the day was filled with non-stop action, averaging about one fish every 20-30 minutes, and even had multiple double and triple hookups. ( white marlin, mahi-mahi trip )It was an unforgettable experience and I look forward to booking another trip for my son and I very soon.

I can’t say enough on how much fun our trip was with high Z’s fishing tour.  Captain Nelson picked us up at our resort around 6:30.  Communication before the trip was excellent, the boat was very clean and ready to go when we got there.  Within half an hour we literally had all 4 lines lines tight at once, unfortunately we were only able to land the first 2, the other 2 got away while we were fighting the first 2. Overall we caught 3 mahi mahi, 2 barracuda, and 1 wahoo. Several other bites, a couple break offs rounded out a great day of fishing. Highly recommend if you’re thinking of doing fishing charter in the Dominican to use high z’s.

Went out for 6hrs with 5 rods in the water, and 3 big fishes later i could not have been more pleased with the outcome of this experience.

You get to drink as much water and as much beer as you like, the sandwich might have been slightly bland but the freshly cut pineapple ant the chips really made up for it.

We caught a 30 pound Sailfish/Marlin, the golden Wahi-Wahi and a baracuda.

The waves was a little rough at first but nothing a giant fish and some beer wont fix. The captain and deckhand was really good and they sure know how to do it!

We had an absolutely amazing time today the captain and first meet went out of their way to make our trip. Amazing. I was a little bit sick from the rocking ocean and they went out of their way to accommodate finding me a comfortable spot in the boat. my husband caught a whopper of a fish and had an absolute blast.

Caught 1 barracuda. I requested that we fish for billfish and Wahoo but the crew kind of just did their own thing. Trolled ballyhoo the entire 6 hour charter at around 6 knots. I just don’t think the fish were around. The crew did what they could to try and put us on fish. The captain and first mate didn’t speak good English so I wasn’t able to talk to them really during the charter. Captain Nelson speaks good English but he only captains the larger boat. I would fish with these guys again, just wasn’t my day. Captain Nelson was extremely friendly and welcoming when he picked us up at the cruise port. I really wish I could have fished with him. He’s an awesome guy!
