Danny was incredibly nice, accommodating, had a great boat and equipment and led us in an incredibly enjoyable outing looking for redfish. While we weren’t able to land one in the end, we had a great experience, got to learn what to look for, saw some fish up close, had a few bites that got away and had a ton of fun.

Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to get out on the water and have an enjoyable fishing experience. I’m sure we’ll come back on our next trip down here.

My Sons, wife and I had a great trip with Captain Danny.  He was prepared when we arrived at the ramp and we were able to get underway quickly.  Captain Danny had already netted some bait and pre-scouted a spot or two.  He mentioned that he was intending on putting us on quality fish and not just fish.  His plan was successful as everyone caught nice sized fish (evidenced by pictures).  His boat was well kept and equipped as was his gear (rods and reels).  He spent some time educating us for what we should be looking for while fishing and explained what the fish were doing during various stages of the tide.  A real good, all around experience.
On the personal side of things, Captain Danny was engaging and personable…went with the flow of the conversation.  He was genuinely excited when there was a fish on the line and celebrated when the fish was netted…apparent that he loves what he does.

When we go back down to Charleston, I know who I will be setting up my next trip with.

If you are wanting a shot at some nice inland water reds, I would give Captain Danny a call/book a trip.

We had a great fishing experience with Capt Danny.  He had pre scoped out a couple spots that had lots of fishing action.  He was great with our son who caught a good sized red, and our daughter who was content being the shrimp master.  Everybody had a great time, we lost count on how many fish we caught.  We think about 19.

Amazing time fishing with Capt. Danny. Convinced him to bring Mudbug out for the morning and was glad he did! Fun having the furry first mate on the boat. We landed sharks, trout, and hooked into a big school of reds. Even landed a quad (4 on at once). Would definitely recommend Capt. Danny and would fish with him again. Took the time to learn or names and called us by them. Gave us local food and fishing recommendations. 6/5 stars.
