By far one of the best experiences, I’ve had. Went with a group of friends and from start to finish it was fun. They taught us so much and made the whole thing an amazing experience. The price was great and we caught a lot of stuff. Even the boat was amazing compared to the others ones I searched up before picking this one.

We went on the Canyon Trip with Captain Mark and Mike and cannot give them enough praise. Captain was available to chat the entire time leading up to the trip and helped set us up to be flexible so we could capitalize on the best weather. We’re happy he did because we ended up going out a day earlier than expected and it was the best possible choice. The boat is set up like a champion, enough space for the four of us to lay down although we caught enough fish that sleeping was the least of our worries. We were in the ocean in no time and starting catching Yellowfin immediately while trolling. We later hit the canyons to chunk and caught more Yellowfin, Mahi, and even a Hammerhead that was released while still in the water. A couple hours of shut eye were needed since the Yellowfin and Mahi were back again at 6 am. Aside from the fishing, Captain Mark and his first mate Mike made the trip. They knew their stuff, worked their butts off, and made sure to include us in any decision on what to do next. Most importantly, they were great guys who were easy to get along with and we were laughing and having a great time the entire trip. I could go on and on but this was everything we could’ve asked for. This was our first time on the Jessie James but won’t be our last!
