My husband and I had a great time on our trip! The crew were great and because of their expert knowledge of the area we caught a 46in long Great Barracuda on our way back to the dock! It was such a fun and relaxing one and well worth the money. This is a memory from our honeymoon we will have forever hanging on the wall! We let the fish go back in the ocean but we’re able to purchase the fish and name it, alongside having a replica of the fish made. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip!

I booked a captain and boat only to find out that I was switched to a different captain who had no idea where to find the fish. This was done the moment when I showed up. I do not recommend this company. You use these reviews to find a captain that has sufficient experience not to be assigned to somebody different when you show up. We spent four hours only receiving one fish strike which the first mate screwed up by telling me to stop when I was reeling in and the fish threw the hook. I basically... More

First off, thank you for coming out with us. I’m sorry you did not enjoy yourself out there. I want everyone that comes out with us to be happy. To address your points, we do not promise any particular captain will be working the day you come. We have several captains, each of them have decades of experience fishing. Also, we DO NOT guarantee fish on any trip. I’ve captained 10,000 trips in my lifetime… 5,000 of them were awesome trips with lots of fish and 5,000 of them were slow trips with few or zero fish. When you are fishing for big game fish, getting skunked is highly possible, even common during certain times of the year. The crew want you to catch fish even more so than you do. But we can’t make them bite. I am sorry the fishing was slow on the day you came. I hope that all of your future fishing trips are as successful as you can imagine them to be.

Trip boated a blackfin tuna that was used as bait to bring a large shark boatside. I found the diesel exhaust from the engines to be overwhelming, but others aboard didn’t seem to mind. This trip is a good value for someone that’s not sensitive to fumes.
